Summary: We stayed here because we were travelling for surgery at Mayo, only 10 mins away. The host was friendly but still gave us our privacy. The Casita kitchen was well stocked, with staples like cooking oil, condiments, herbs, and even a few thoughtful treats in the fridge. The common tools you'd want in a home kitchen were stored in a sensible place easy to find. The Casita itself was Beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the backyard was full of desert wildlife, including a mischievous yet charming pack of quail who kept coming up to our window. Also saw rabbits and lizards. The pigeons would sing to us in the mornings. Pool was clean and shaded so we stayed cool even in the Arizona summer heat. Since the small kitchen was so well stocked, we were able to eat in most of the time, though since the host provided a nice list of local food, we didn't want to and enjoyed the local faire haha. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Was so nice to come "home" after our stay at the hospital, made our medical visit feel a lot more like a vacation.
